High Peaks Open Trials Registration
Volleyball England will be running open trials at High Peaks on the weekend of the 26th/27th July for interested, talented volleyball players to trial to be part of the England National Junior Programme.
High Peaks will be taking place at the National Volleyball Centre, Kettering and athletes will need to register their attendance through the registration form (found on the right hand side of this page), and return before Friday the 4th July 2014. Please note that there has been a day allocated for boys and a separate day for girls (outlined below)
Boys - Saturday 26th July
requirements are that athletes are born between 1st January 1997 and 1st January 2001 and hold a valid British passport
Girls - Sunday 27th July
requirements are that athletes are born between 1st January 1998 and 1st January 2002 and hold a valid British passport
The cost for the day is £10, with lunch being provided (further details on payment as well as schedule will be provided at a later date once registrations are received)
Athletes will be selected to enter into the Volleyball England talent pathway which includes, attending junior and cadet national team camps held throughout the year at the National Volleyball Centre, which provides an opportunity to be selected to represent England for a number of events, such as NEVZA, UK School Games and CEV.
Athletes will experience regular coaching by national team coaches and gain access in the national team elite athlete education programme.
