Volleyball England organises all aspects of the game within the Further Education and Higher Education sectors. Research has found that volleyball is one of the top five sports that students are most likely to try at University.  Therefore with over three hundred colleges and universities teams playing volleyball across England, student volleyball is a key focus for Volleyball England.

Below is the Volleyball England wheel which illustrates our commitment to supporting student volleyball.

Further Education (FE) encompasses students aged 16-19 years either based within a college or sixth form.  Volleyball England have a variety of programmes that enable students of all abilities to participate and excel in the sport.

Higher Education (HE) relates to 18+ students based in Universities or HE Colleges.  Volleyball England have a pathway starting at their market leading HEVO (Higher Education Volleyball Officer) programme targetting recreational students leading into their Senior Academy Programme supporting talented athletes.
