Team Warwick Performance - Volleyball Coach
Team Warwick Performance (TWP) are open to applications for the role of University 2nd Team Coach/s of the BUCS Men’s and Women’s teams.
The University of Warwick is a prestigious higher education institute with a broad history in volleyball. The volleyball environment at the university is vibrant, with over 100 volleyball club members as well as a varied calendar of participation volleyball activities on-campus. In 2018, the university identified Volleyball as a focus sport with the aim of developing the university experience for students playing volleyball.
The role will involve working closely with the Head Volleyball Coach to provide training support for the BUCS 2nd teams across both genders. The successful candidate/s will play a large role in developing and delivering the Volleyball Development Strategy at the university. There will also be opportunity to develop experience working as part of a multidisciplinary support team (across physiotherapy, S&C, lifestyle support, and technical coaching).
Men’s 2nd Team Training – Sunday 19:00-20:30
Women’s 2nd Team Training – Tuesday 20:30-22:00
Fixtures – Wednesday afternoon / evening.
The ideal candidates will be qualified coaches who have experience working with university aged players. They will be confident to plan and deliver training sessions autonomously, as well as working together with the Head Volleyball Coach. As a proactive, engaging and ambitious individual, ideal candidates will be interested in using the role to develop their coaching skillset.

Head Office Work Experience Placement
Volleyball England is seeking to appoint a number of Work Experience Placement Interns to be based at it's Head Office in Loughborough.
It is an ideal opportunity for school leavers, students or those who would like a career change to gain invaluable office skills in the sports sector and join a busy and vibrant team at the Volleyball England Head Office.
The placement role will mainly involve administration support for the Volleyball England Hub team during the busy indoor registration period and the summer event season.
Tasks will include:
• Supporting the Membership renewal process for Volleyball clubs, coaches and referees.
• Assisting in preparations for Volleyball England tournaments and events.
• Supporting the Volleyball England Events team at tournaments where required.
• Data entry.
All work experience placements will receive references if required and the opportunity to volunteer with Volleyball England at future events.
