Leicester-shire & Rutland Sport - Manager (Strategic Relationships)
Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS) are seeking to recruit a Manager (Strategic Relationships) for two years. A key focus for this role will be the ability to influence the development of the Leicester and Leicestershire Local Industrial Strategy and the Leicester and Leicestershire Growth and Infra-Structure Plan from a health, well-being, physical activity and sport perspective.
Salary: Grade 15 - £51,975 - £57,360 per annum
Hours: Full Time - 37 hours per week
Contract: Contract/Temporary (2-year fixed term, with contract extension, subject to additional funding)

The Manager (Strategic Relationships) role is a shared post between Sport England and Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS) which will seek to change how strategy is grounded locally to meet the key strategic challenges and make best use and alignment of all the available resource, capacity and skills.
The key purpose is to strengthen the relationship between local delivery and national programme design, ensuring resource rooted locally is well-connected nationally, and local intelligence and 'on the ground' experience, informs the design of national programmes.

The University of Westminster is looking for a qualified volleyball coach (Minimum of Level 1) for their BUCS Women's Team.
The role begins on the w/c 17/09/18 until May/June 2018. Training sessions take place on Monday evenings (exact time TBC) in Nortwick Park, HA1 and matches take place on Wednesday afternoons.
Pay: £25p/h (dependent on experience)

East Midlands Chair Position
The East Midlands association makes up one of nine regions across the country and oversees volleyball within the area.
The committee is made up of volunteers within the region, meeting approximately four times a year.
A further commitment within the role is to join the eight other Regional Chairs in a National working group.
Typical responsibilities for the role include:
- Organising an AGM
- Chairing meetings
- Planning meetings throughout the year
- Communicating effectively with the county associations (Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire) and the other committee members
There is a great opportunity for this role holder to shape the direction of the East Midlands region supported by a team of committed volunteer executives.

Women’s Volleyball Coach – Gravesend, Kent
After forming a new women’s team, based out of Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara in Gravesend, Kent, we are looking for a coach.
We are a club consisting of women who used to play volleyball at college in India and people new to the sport, so are looking for a qualified coach who preferably has experience of coaching beginners.
At present, the commitment would be for 2 hours per week and pay would be by the hour.
Sessions run at Guru Nanak Sports Centre, Khalsa Avenue (off Trinity Road), Gravesend, Kent, DA12 1LU.

Head Office Work Experience Placement
Volleyball England is seeking to appoint a number of Work Experience Placement Interns to be based at it's Head Office in Loughborough.
It is an ideal opportunity for school leavers, students or those who would like a career change to gain invaluable office skills in the sports sector and join a busy and vibrant team at the Volleyball England Head Office.
The placement role will mainly involve administration support for the Volleyball England Hub team during the busy indoor registration period and the summer event season.
Tasks will include:
• Supporting the Membership renewal process for Volleyball clubs, coaches and referees.
• Assisting in preparations for Volleyball England tournaments and events.
• Supporting the Volleyball England Events team at tournaments where required.
• Data entry.
All work experience placements will receive references if required and the opportunity to volunteer with Volleyball England at future events.
